We're a small business in Yorktown Virginia ourselves and we know how difficult it is finding the right marketing plan and where to spend your few marketing dollars. We think we can help you start out with one of the most well known ways, bulk/mass mail.
Our greatest strength is marketing to our local area in Yorktown Virginia. We have maps marked into neighborhoods that show how many residents are in each section of our county. You can start out slow by picking one or two residential neighborhoods and see how this type of marketing works for you. You can test this system with as little as 200 cards or letters minimizing the cost and narrowing your target market substantially.
And don't worry if your a business who needs to market to only businesses, we have a mail list of all our local businesses on hand and the same system mentioned above can be used.
In addition, Because we want to be specialist in York County doesn't mean we can't mail to any other part of the country. We can supply you with a mail list based on any U.S. location (Zip Code) or use your mail list and mail your advertisement or bills/invoices to them.
Types of Media
1. Brochures - A 6 panel folded page that has 2 tabs holding the
brochure closed (a USPS requirement). It is mailed to residents and businesses
with the intent of of offering a lot of information. Each panel can be
its own category or combined together to make larger sections. One of
the panels, the back one is used for the addressing. The brochure can
be addressed with a label or directly printed. The paper can be of any
color and the artwork can be in B&W or full color.
2. Post Cards - Made of 14 point paper and has many options. Color on both sides, one side color and the other B&W, shiny coatings and UV protective coating. Paper can be plain card stock printed on a simple copy machine or sent out to our printer for the more professional look.
Artwork can be done by you or us. We have several artists that we use in the local area but we are fully capable of creating a full featured professional looking card with coupons if needed.
3. One too Three Page Letters stuffed in Envelopes - We will take your typed letters, flyers, brochures, return envelopes, billing statements, newsletters or any other 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper and stuff them in envelopes (windowed or not), seal them and mail them at discount rates.
Postage Options
1. 1st Class - Fastest delivery times and returnable if not
delivered. We use an "indicia" (little printed square in place
of stamp). However, stamps on a letter can be a more professional look
and we can apply stamps if that's what you want (fee to apply), costs
the most.
2. Standard - We use an "indicia". Slow if address is
far away, non delivered mail is discarded unless options are requested
(for extra fees). Best value for the money.
We prefer standard mailing because it cost so little and since we try to focus on our local areas the delivery times are about the same as First Class mail.
Mail Sortation
1. Non Machineable - Throw all the mail unordered in a tray and
mail it, small if any discount.
2. Presorted Machinable - mail is bar-coded, sorted and ordered
so that the USPS doesn't have to do it. Low cost.
3. Carrier Route Saturation - Mailing to 75% of all address in
a carrier route or 90% of all residential addresses in a carrier route.
Mail must be sorted and ordered the same as presorted machinable but you
don't need to have a name for the addresses.
4. Simple Address Carrier Route Saturation - Mail can be addressed
"USPS Customer" without an address. Mail to 100% of a carrier
route, great discount.
